|Our world has been turned upside down. Our collective wellbeing, in every sense, is in a state of upheaval and uncertainty.|
And yet, I am grateful!
I am here to remind you that showing up imperfectly is perfectly ok right now. It is going to look different for everyone. It is all valid.
I hope you are staying healthy and strong. I hope you are loving on yourself, no matter what. I hope you are feeling balanced. I hope you are remembering to keep your personal goals and visions close to your heart. I hope you are able to find a minute of calm, peace, joy, and silliness every day.
Personal growth and change is not linear. There will be moments filled with rest, mindfulness, sadness, contemplation, cleaning, purging, donating, protesting, confusion, difficult conversations, space, setting personal boundaries, laughter, listening, and so much more.
How we are showing up—with our intentions, with our actions, with our judgements, with our compassion—is very important right now.
I’ve been watching and catching myself whenever I start operating out of quick, reactionary, defensive, and performative programming. I am working towards finding more love, adaptability, resilience, and what the truth feels like.
I am praying for all. I know that together we can create, implement and maintain a society that is disassociated from racist ideals and mechanisms.
One that is heart-centered, and honest.
One that is full of compassionate action, access to healthcare, creativity, and improvements in our communities.
This is a time of great transformation. What this time is asking of us is to unearth and enact the truth of who we have always been.
I am grateful that the world is upside down right now. I am grateful for the opportunity it has given us all to look deep down inside, listen to our intuition and let it lead us into a brighter future.
